Free bike Tune Ups

The Bike Coop from the University of Ottawa together with your GSA will be offering free bike tune-ups Wednesday June 19 from 11AM to 7 PM. Everyone is welcome to come by the green space between the University Centre and the Architecture Building.  

Wine Tasting at Mike's Place

Taste the great grapes of Ontario at the CKCU Wine Appreciation Series hosted by wine writer and historian Rod Phillips. Each month Rod Phillips will showcase one grape and lead a tasting of four wines (May is Riesling, June is Gamay, July is Chardonnay, August is Cabernet Franc.) All wines have been chosen by Rod Phillips with an emphasis on Ontario wines. Space is strictly limited to just 25 people so buy your tickets ahead of time. Tickets cost $30 per event or purchase a series ticket to all four events for just $100.

The series will take place at Mike's Place (Second Floor, University Centre, Carleton University) between 12:00 and 1:30pm on the last Thursday of each month (May 30th, June 27, July 25th and August 30th.)
